Tired of the confusion around food?
I’ll help you build a foundation that gives you the knowledge and confidence to allow nutrition to work for you.
Nutrition Through Treatment
Going into cancer treatment can be an overwhelming experience and nutrition may not be the first place you start or it can be at the top of your list. When you are ready to take a deeper dive into how nutrition can support and sustain you, let’s work together to create a plan.
Nutrition To Feel Your Best
My approach is focused on integrative and functional nutrition. I do an extensive initial assessment to better understand your unique history, current challenges and start to build a plan that individually suits you.
I strive to empower individuals at every stage of their wellness journey with the understanding that each person brings their own story, taste preferences and barriers to the table. I look for ways to make whole foods central to how we meet these goals.
We will meet on a regular basis to establish a solid foundation and then move to less frequent check-ins as you become more comfortable with your new routine.
Regular appointments are the most effective way to receive guidance, build on your progress and achieve your optimal health. I also support the individual who is at higher risk of chronic illness to navigate food choices and build an understanding of the research.
Nutrition Through Treatment
Everyone is ready to begin the journey to wellness at different times. Whenever the time is right for you, let’s talk and discuss how nutrition can be a part of your plan. I strive to find ways to help people continue to eat well, no matter what barriers they may face. Foundational to this is making sense of and understanding current research as it applies to the individual, answering questions and finding what each person needs to optimize their health.
Some of the reasons you may want to work with a dietitian include:
Treatment side effects such as taste changes, diarrhea, changes to electrolytes
Unintentional weight loss or weight gain
Adherence to a medically prescribed diet
Difficulty finding foods to eat
Loss of appetite
